I thoroughly enjoyed this nice and simple place, stayed there for 1 night. The bed was soft & room was good-sized. Pleased it had a bath. Amicable staff and the location was particularly good and unbeatable. The hotel was a brilliant place for enjoying a pedestrian area.

Well located in the town centre with plenty of facilities nearby. The staff were welcoming and friendly
Being in the town centre it was noisey as there were bars below; although this apparently only a problem on Friday and Saturday - the nights we were staying!

Good location in a picturesque town. Well sign-posted once in town.
Rather a lot of noise at night from bar downstairs.

The rooms here are comfortable and stylish, while the bathroom is really nice; it also has central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels which we found essential.

Basic but cheerful, friendly staff, good breakfast.
Neighbouring bars and nightclubs caused some noise well into the night.

Large rooms, very nice style, very clean. Great location. Staff is exceptionally friendly! Nice breakfast buffet. The style of the hotel in general, it is very cosy and individually funitured. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our entire stay.
If there was any downside it was the slightly enhanced noise level during the night on weekends (the hotel is located at Doetinchem's main place), so if you are sensitive, just ask for a room facing the courtyard instead of Simonsplein.

Location was excellent; bed was very comfortable; room was quite spacious. Staff on duty on first night were very helpful
Didn't get coffee with breakfast on the second day as there was no-one in the breakfast room to offer this service. Room was very very warm so as I stayed there in October wouldn't want to stay in summer

I recently stayed at this hotel in the heart of a charming Dutch town. Despite being a smaller hotel, it had all I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always making an effort to understand and assist me in multiple languages. The hotel's simplicity and basic amenities were just what I was looking for, making me feel at home. The rooms, although not very spacious, were clean and well-maintained, and I even had a bathtub to relax in. Plus, the hotel's location in the city center made it a great value for the price.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and I don't have any major complaints.

For families with children, a visit to the nearby Monkey Park was an absolute delight. The kids loved interacting with the playful monkeys and watching them swing from tree to tree. It was a great educational experience and the park had a lovely atmosphere.
In my wife's opinion, the hotel could benefit from having a playground or indoor play area for children.
